The Puma is a tactical transport helicopter which entered service in 1971. It can carry 16 fully equipped troops, can be configured for aeromedical evacuation or can carry a total of 5,500 lbs in underslung loads.

The Puma is in service with 33 Sqn at RAF Benson, 72 Sqn at RAF Aldergrove and 230 Sqn also at RAF Aldergrove.
